I dont know other tables biding, 5♠ dbl only 2down and 6♦ is laydown on the
lucky layout. we get a very bad score,i guess many N-S pairs play 5d or 6d
but we are lucky to get plus.. i play North hand and my p bid 4NT try to show
6+♦ and 4cards ♣ but if opp didnt overcall 5♠ i would have passed 4NT
and down 1.

6-4 is usually not enough at this position so i would expect more, 6-5 would be more like it, I dont like the 7-4 it wont do you much good here , and almost never best to play on clubs here, i htink your partner should have bid 5D instead of 4nt.

To preempt mikeh: I expect my partner to read this correctly.
I don't think that it is completely rediculous to use 4NT here as "to play", but I would never expect an advanced or expert partner to make this bid without prior agreement.
I don't think that 6D is a fantastic slam, so I wouldn't mind missing it. The opponents did well to compete to 5S (and by guessing the club for only down 2).

Pass of 4S was forcing, but one thing is certain: It is not to play.
For me 4NT would show a strong hand, followed by 5D, a very strong
diamond one suiter, inv. to 6.

i think should show ♦ support otherwise i could dbl 4♠
so i dont think 4NT was show 2 suiter,it must be try to play 4nt(after parnter's forcing pass).

No need to preempt me here, Han 4N is a two suiter, with a 2 card discrepancy between the suits. I would not usually expect 7-4, especially a good 7 card suit and a weakish 4 card suit, since such holdings will usually play better in the 7-1 than the 4-3: and partner might prefer ♣ with 3=6=1=3 with say KJx in ♣.
I probably play 4N as keycard less frequently than any other poster, so there was little risk of that interpretation from me, and using it as natural in this sequence holds zero appeal and not much greater logic.
