Scoring: XIMP

You play in 3. LHO opened 1, pass , pass and you make a slightly dubious balance of 2, although as a passed hand, it minimizes the risk pard will go nuts.

LHO competes with 3 and pard's 3 buys it.

LHO leads the K and RHO follows with the 8 (standard carding).

What is the best line for 9 tricks?

By the way, I wrapped this, but I'm not sure I took the best line of play.

you cannot avoid a diamonds ruff, so forget that suit and hope they don't touch it yet.

duck first club, next play a spade towards dummy inserting the jack.
