Scoring: IMP

(1)-p-(3)*-?

3 diamonds is a constructive 4 card spade raise.

Do you blast 5 diamonds here, walk the dog a bit by either passing or bidding 4 diamonds, or do you double then bid diamonds at the 5 level? Something else?

5. Not clear it's making since opps are showing most of the rest of the strength, but at these colors even if I don't make it's might be a good sac. More importantly, one of them probably has short diamonds to bid 5 over me, which I'll X.

5 at any vulnerability, but especially this one. It's overwhelmingly probable that at least one of 4 and 5 make.
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.

Follow up: you bid 5, and it goes pass, pass, 5. Whack it?

5 for sure. Put some pressure on them.

I'm doubling 5 (did the 3 bidder really rebid 5??) to show a (very)good offensive hand.
Kind regards,
Harald
