I'm always up for a game so if the time suits, I'll play.
I'd like to see forum members pairing up rather than bringing their own partners.

Depending on what you want to achieve, this may
be a little unfair, given that there are regular partnerships
posting on the net.

I cant help it, my partner is a typical german, works hard
and does not wast the company money on hours in the
net, as I do ... (I have an admin like job, sometimes, so
this may help explain my posting activites.)

It seems weird to use North American classifications in an international community like this. If there have to be restrictions, it would be better to use the WBF categories (e.g. no HUM/BSC), those terms are familiar to bridge players outside North America, also.l

I vote it should be longer than 9 boards, 16 (with 2 board rounds) would make sense. Also I vote you can bring non-BBF partners (yes, I am worried about Han's new year resolutions).

I can certainly do my best to make it then.

Adam and I MIGHT be able to play (sometimes I have to direct at last minute's notice). I quoted these times because I believe that the US pacific time is wrong: it should be three hours behind NY, so 12:30pm. All the others are consistent with that conclusion. I mention this because I want to make sure that it is the Pacific that is incorrect, and the others are correct (and not the other way around).

In other words: Do you mean choice 1: NY 15:30, US pacific 12:30 or choice 2: US pacific 14:30, NY 17:30 (and thus 5:30pm)?

I might point out that there are five Regional Tournaments going on between Xmas and New Years in the USA, so lots of ftf tournament action. That's where I will be - Reno!.

I thank to Elianna.

NY 15.30pm is a FIX hour. So Pacific 12.30 is correct. (10 hours behind from Turkiye) Choice 1 is OK. Sorry for mistyped.

Another idea :

I can open the registration five days before dead time and post tournament number here. So forum members may check everything goes well or not. That would be also easy to correct if i am mistaken.

China 04.30am.
Taiwan 04.30am.
New Zealand 09:30am
Colombia 15.30pm
Cuba 15.30pm
Egypt 22.30pm
Finland 22.30pm
India 01.30am
Indonesia Bali, Borneo 04.30am
Indonesia Irian Jaya 05.30am
Indonesia Sumatra, Java 03.30am

I think Boom Boom Boom is not a good name; certainly not in Asia. I would have to choose my partner very carefully.

John Lee Hooker is a semi god american music idol. He introduced many people with blues. He deserves a respect at least for "boom boom boom, things gonna change" hit.

He did things absolutely right in his expertise territory till the moment he died. [Born August 22, 1917-08-22 Coahoma County, Mississippi,United States; Died June 21, 2001 (aged 83)Los Altos, California, United States] His last bow was Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2000.

http://en.wikipedia....John_Lee_Hooker "His biggest UK hit, "Boom Boom", (originally released on VeeJay) had a horn section to boot!"
Chicago Late 1961 - Boom Boom - Vee-Jay 438 (4/62) R&B #16 (VJ LP "Burnin'")

FYI, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boom_Boom
There listed Boom Boom may refer to many things.

Sorry, are we still living in same planet please? :)
