oh noes, because i like to bid on any 5 card suit on 1 level and etc my opps can bid more confidently when i pass cos they know i am 4x3 whenever i pass is this not a real threat?
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.

No, because you can be 4432 and surprise them with a third-round ruff.

Make sure partner alerts all your passes, saying it may be a psyche with a strong hand. That makes them nervous.
