By David Bird, Master Point Press
David Bird is a familiar figure in the bridge literature world. This book divides up endplays into different themes, and these are dealt with in individual chapters. Each chapter first goes through the technique, gives some examples from high-level play, and then ends off with a short quiz of 4 hands, with answers given after. Bird's style makes for easy reading even for a technical book. I personally like the way the book is structured, and the quizzes are short enough to keep most readers' attention, yet sufficient for one to test his/her understanding.
The book should be suitable for intermediates up, even advanced players will find some of the later chapters helpful, and the earlier chapters a good revision of the basics.

I agree - I rate it an A.
Not the usual lead up to A Q 9 and cover LHOs card.
There are a lot of shape based end plays.
The beginning stae=rts out very basic ( worried me I had wasted my money), but rapidly improves.
Great book for Intermediates, and still worthwhile for Advanced.
