Team match. sitting in 4th seat with neither side vulnerable. You hold x 10x 108xxx AJ10xx.
Auction went: 1♥-Dbl-1♠-?
Dbl will be penalty showing !s. What is 1NT? How about 2NT? Is there any way to show both minors?

I would bid 2D and follow with 3C if I can. 1NT and 2NT would be natural for me.

Yep, the NT advances to the double need to remain the same as if 3rd chair had passed. Even if 3rd chair redoubled instead of bidding 1S, the NT advances should remain intact. Psyches happen.

I hope you mean it is for minors in your partnership agreements. It is not "responsive", because the term refers to when a suit has been bid and raised by the opponents. It is not takeout for the minors as played by most people. It is normally a descriptive call showing an honor and some length in the suit with at least a few competitive values. It is, as a byproduct, a way of exposing psychic responses.

If you don't buy that, then buy the fact that for this thread OP told you what the double would have meant.

Hi,

1NT and 2NT are natural.

A common aggrement is to play the cue (openers suit)
to show 2-places to play.
The alternative is, to bid 2D followed by 3C the next
round, given your hand, the bidding wont end with 2D.
