My first thought is: take
♠A to avoid any ruff shenanigans, then cash the
♦AK, then the
♣AK throwing a heart. If the diamonds split, the defence can cash their
♠K and a heart, but that's it.
So the problem must come in the form of a 3-0 diamond break... which means you need to get rid of the 2nd heart loser fast. Win the
♠A, play to
♦K, cash
♣A and ruff one, cross to DA, cash CK and pray looks about the only shot due to lack of entries.
Must still be missing something? Taking the
♠ finesse on the first trick is asking for disaster.
Edit: I see the cross-post. Seems there are different ways one could guess clubs and playing for 10xx in west isn't a bad idea by any means.
