I think a direct 5S might make sense if you play "forcing pass sacrifice NV vs V" over 6H, IE

overcaller X with 2 tricks and pass with 1 or 0 and advancer pass with 2 save with 0 and X with 1 but its been years since I saw opponents play this gadget.

The problem with 4S is that your often going to have to make the last guess I would really hate to bring -1430 while 6S is -800
