In the tournament results, players or pairs are listed in order if finish, with their position on the left. BUT, on the right, there is a column entitled "Rank:, and the numbers in it appear to be slightly scrambled. What does "Rank" mean? Thanks.

Tourneys are often broken up into sections. Within each direction, some movements assign separate scores to NS/EW

Rank = the final position of the pair, often within section/direction.

Order = overall order ( but not all movements use overall scores to determine rank)


Rank is what matters. Order is FYI.
