Hi Fred
I'm constructing some lin files from pbn files (normal match format). When I do the usual Open With NetbridgeVu.exe I get a small window :
"Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
A buffer overrun has been detected which has corrupted the program's internal state. The program cannot safely continue execution and must now be terminated"
I've never seen anything like this prior to V408 - any ideas? I'm running XP Home Edition with Service Pack2
Thx
Denis

Hi Denis,
If you send me a copy of the file I should be able to figure out what is happening. Nothing has changed in this area of the program for a while so it is likely something file-specific. You can send the file as an e-mail attachment to:
fred@bridgebase.com
I should warn you in advance that I may not be willing to fix this if it is complicated. Being able to successfully open all .pbn files (which come in a whole bunch of different flavors) is not exactly high priority.

Denis sent me a copy of the file (thanks).
This bug has always been there, but did not result in a crash in previous versions. It was a trivial thing to fix and the fix will appear in the next release.
