Last weekened another Spain vs Portugal match was played. One of the most interesting hands (to play) was this:

It looks like you need to set up spades, and end play them with trumps after eliminating clubs and diamonds. Requires 2-2♥ 4-2♦ and 4-3 spades so that they play ruff and sluff at some point.

In the 4-card ending above, instead of playing ♥x, I misclicked ♠T, but RHO misdefended by ruffing with ♥Q
I also made a more subtle error, Perhaps, you should cash your last top ♦ just prior to exiting in ♥ in case a defender is 3217 or 4216 or 4207?

Seems like the only line. I don't see another way since you only have 5 hearts, 2 spades, 2 diamonds, and 2 clubs unless you endplay someone.

I didn't put much efforts in the ending, but that position seems to be a make for you no matter what, ♠10 should be high so you pitch a diamond and play a heart endplaying East.

anyway, ruff 2 spades, play clubs, top diamond, then 2 trumps.. with some luck someone will be forced to ruff-sluff now

They will, but that only brings 11 tricks nuno. You are missing an important movement in your line (try at my webpage if you want)

If you mistakenly attempt to cash ♠T rather than exit in ♥, then the defender who started with ♥KQ should discard and his partner should ruff. It's a great problem but might be even more of a challenge if a defender held say
♠ K Q x x ♥ K Q ♦ x ♣ x x x x x x or
♠ J x x ♥ K Q ♦ x ♣ x x x x x x x or even
♠ K Q x x ♥ K Q ♦- ♣ x x x x x x x
so that declarer had to delay attempting to cash the second ♦ honour until just before exiting in trumps.
