Just played a quickfire 100 boards with the robots. This one was a bit strange:

sorry have no idea how to make the diagram bigger
"definitely that's what I like to play when I'm playing standard - I want to be able to bid diamonds because bidding good suits is important in bridge" - Meckstroth's opinion on weak 2 diamond

Using actual brackets instead of the squiggly brackets (actual brackets wouldn't show up here because they are control commands):
  • Replace everything at the beginning of the diagram text up to and including the ? with {hv=
  • At the end of the diagram text, add }360|270{/hv}

The numbers above are the length and height of the diagram, which you can manipulate. Some diagrams have different needs than others.

BB no offense, I am sure your suggestions are as accurate as they are unintelligible.

To copy a hand, click on Options underneath the hand diagram after you have played it. Then click on Export Deal, then Handviewer link. A tinyurl link will appear, copy it and paste it to your BB Post, and there you are.

There are several ways of accomplishing this. I don't know how OP created his original post. Rather than change his entire routine, he just needs to edit the post that he has already created in the manner I described above. Note that he is trying to be more helpful than you are and post the actual hand rather than posting a link which must be opened by each reader.

heh. I worked it out from those instructions posted earlier, and I have the brain of a Zabriskan Fontema. Easy after the first success.

But your way works OK. The main downside (apart from that we have to click on the link to view the hand, which is a trivial objection) is that hands are only available in MyHands database for a finite time (roughly 2 months if I recall) and once they disappear from there the hands are lost for good if not hard-coded into a forum post.

Even that would be a fairly trivial objection were it not for the fact that it may take BBO more than 2 months go get around taking notice of the posts, if the last 6 months are anything to go by.
Psych (pron. saik): A gross and deliberate misstatement of honour strength and/or suit length. Expressly permitted under Law 73E but forbidden contrary to that law by Acol club tourneys.

Psyche (pron. sahy-kee): The human soul, spirit or mind (derived, personification thereof, beloved of Eros, Greek myth).
Masterminding (pron. mPosted ImagesPosted ImagetPosted Imager-mPosted ImagendPosted Imageing) tr. v. - Any bid made by bridge player with which partner disagrees.

The better way, as BBradley was trying to suggest, for the "viewers don't have to open another link" and "hands saved permanently" reasons, is to follow this with:
1. Paste that tinyurl link into your browser, and visit the link. Copy the expanded URL to clipboard.
2. Use:
[hv=(paste URL from clipboard here)]400|300[/hv]

in your post.

It looks like basic GIB ( rented GIB on Main Bridge Club / Relaxed tables ) . Tourney GIB as being allowed to simulate or seek for close to book bid moves to 3 and don't pass.

3 requires 11-12TP, where South has 10.

Maybe OP's suggestion is that the requirements for a 3 bid should be lowered a tad. And, even if South doesn't have enough to bid 3 over 2, he should certainly have enough to compete to 3 over 2.
