At eighth round,Gib N ruff my ♣Ace ! If not ruff,the normal result will down -2,now it is only one.

While you can wonder why it ruffed the ace, it doesn't actually cost any tricks. If you win and play a heart, North gets 2 trump tricks and you end with 2 trumps and 2 clubs for -1. If you win and play another club, North can ruff for a third trick, but then a trump return blows a trick there and a heart return means West ruffs and exits a low spade to endplay North.

Also note that this isn't even double dummy, North is known to be 5431 after trick 8.
