Cross IMPs.
Opponents did not bid when you reached to 3 NT from South,

Lead: Q
"Genius has its own limitations, however stupidity has no such boundaries!"
"It's only when a mosquito lands on your testicles that you realize there is always a way to solve problems without using violence!"

"Well to be perfectly honest, in my humble opinion, of course without offending anyone who thinks differently from my point of view, but also by looking into this matter in a different perspective and without being condemning of one's view's and by trying to make it objectified, and by considering each and every one's valid opinion, I honestly believe that I completely forgot what I was going to say."

I can't see anything other than winning the first spade and playing the K, getting 9 tricks if they split 3-2.

Ahha. Seems I didn't learn from your bridge movie, which is the same idea.

While I feel pretty good about this solution, I have felt pretty good about some others too on these forums that I totally butchered. Sometimes I think I should stop attempting these at 2AM :)

You need to play to A for 2 reasons before you play K

1- If K drops, you now have 2 entries to hand so you can play Q without having to cover.
2- If K did not drop, East may have stiff A and you will not waste 2 club honors when you see the Ace. (As Kaitlyn pointed too)

I'm sure by " to the A", you meant "small ", so stiff J opposite Qx retains a stopper.

Yes small heart. Not only because you want to control hearts, but also it would be sad if you played J to the A and saw someone had stiff K.
