Also, not sure who is Gib, you really should state this to be clear.

i was N.. gib descriptive of 3♠ bid was 5♠. robot south can have 5♥4♦3♠1♣ for 2♦ + 3♦ bids, so could have 3♠. that was how logic i was.

i pass as i not look at description however why should i need to look at all description for gib bids? if i bid 4nt after 4♠ what is that, rkcb? if i was with a true partner, i cannot ask what his bid say so i try to do same with gib. gib say that my 3♠ bid was ok and then not bid 3nt reply, who is wrong? me or gib?

I also don't its incredibly sensible but South could be 3541.

So it seems GIB is treating it as 4 card diamond support, which is why it is then trying to get to 6♦. It seems it doesn't have a way of finding a 5-3 spade fit in this sequence.

Because if you don't look at GIB's bid, then you are frequently going to end up in a bad contract. Even if you do look at the GIB descriptions you still may end up in a silly contract, but at least you did the best you could do
