3Clubs hand imps challenge normal bots
I am not sure enough of how Gib bids after 1N forcing to know what is going on.
So 3♣ bid says 12-18 total points. 5♣ 5♠ not 5+ as i would have thought.
What hand south can have with 18 tp 55 in black and to have bid this way I am not sure. presumably a lot of shape. but if 3♣ can be 18 surely it cant be passed.
In any case North Gib has 3 clubs support not shown and ruffing potential. If it doesn't think it's red suit stoppers are good enough for 3N it can raise clubs which isn't forcing or bid diamonds

Why does the 2C rebid say 11 HCP and not 11+? GIB does play that 1M-1N-2m-2N-3m as NF though.

Yes 11 to something seems sensible. Standard American a bit funny can be up to 17 if not right shape.

i wonder if 1NT fcg is the most frequent response to 1S, one should always bid 1C?
