Correct me if I’m wrong, but when BBO released the new web interface, the weekly limit on free daylong tournaments (3) was removed using this interface.
When I use the BBO app on my phone - which is virtually identical to the new web interface - I still have the weekly limit. I prefer to use the app because I don’t get ads or the header/footer from the browser taking up screen space. I can get around this by logging in on my phone’s web browser, entering the tournament, then going back to the app to play it. This takes all of 10 seconds but it’s still mildly annoying.
Just a minor inconvenience - but what’s the point of keeping the weekly limit on free tournaments on the app?

The purpose of removing the limit was to provide an incentive to switch from the Flash version. There was no similar need to entice people to use the mobile app.
