There seems to have been a suggestion on these lines a long time ago but I can't find a recent thread on this topic. Nor have I seen any explanation as to why the feature has never been implemented.

I play with some people that are not particularly technical and they appreciate that I start and host our private table. If I lose the connection and rejoin it would be very much appreciated if I could become host again. But currently this does not appear possible. I can't think of a logical reason why a host cannot transfer this responsibility to another player at the table.

Is there a reason why this has never been implemented? Or is it just that I don't know how to do it?
