Vul 4S at both table. Clubs are 4-4, spades 4-1 but finesse on, so just another 10 trick dull board?
No so at GIB's table. A heart was lead, club to the Ace, diamond Ace back, club K, club ruff, 1st spade finesse held, another club ruff, heart ruff back.
You already have 8 tricks, and with AQ sitting behind K, just throw a diamond and wait for two more trumps, since the 1st finesse held.
No! GIB cashed spade Ace!!!
Ah oh, 4-1 break, 13 imps.
This GIB outsmarted its LHO since playing LHO for ducking with spade Kx?

Once again, compare to my previous "all time greatest" posts, this is nothing.

Why would anybody want to play in the "Classic" games where you can be the dummy and watch GIB "play" the hands???

Did the opponents bid at all?
Sarcasm is a state of mind

And, was this the basic or advanced bots. The free basic bots do a lot more totally weird stuff, but in that case, you get what you pay for and BBO has repeatedly said there are no real plans to fix the basic bots.

lol!. good human bridge mind will be able to work this out but this is beginners error expecting K to drop from RHO instead of waiting for AQ to be good. maybe the bridge program does not 'see' passive play where exiting a will lead to AQ being two tricks, and robot goes for immediate drop of K after one finesse as only winning option. if so the programmers need to reboot this feature.

Bah!
I just lost 13 IMPs after GIB North bid 6, meaning: 6+; 4; 11-HCP; 12 total points - with this hand - over my perfectly makeable 3NT.
The bid of 3NT specifically denies support for North's two minors.
It's time to give the advanced robots a calculator/abacus/pencil and paper.

This is lack of method, and GIB(and lots of human would too)takes a poor gamble. Switch spade K to club K and 6C is almost laydown.
For human, there are gadgets showing "minors+spades shortness, slam interest"(after 3NT, N would simply bid 4S to show it), and South knows wastage thus stop at 4NT, but for bots, there is no such thing.

2nt show 20-21.
Robot had 10 hcp and 5 club
Robot ask you if you have 4 card minor and you said no (completely ignore your 4 card d) OK now the 6c was really aggressive.
I mean not even ask ace but he had at least 10 HCP. And Singleton s. So is no so bad...
