I could understand a human misreading the clubs as longer than the diamonds (ten written 10 rather than T), but I would expect a robot to bid 2NT here. Instead it bid 2.
Is this about needing a 'better than intermediate' hand because vulnerable (see below), or simulations with partner being a passed hand, or what?
I can see the diamonds failing a quality check, but there are plenty of redeeming features with decent chances in a simulation I would expect.
On the actual layout, EW missed 5 making in a 9-card fit.

Unusual NT (when non-vulnerable GIB only does Unusual NT with intermediate hands, xx-KQxxxx KQxxx for example, but it needs a better hand when vulnerable)

Yes, it bids 2NT with that hand when non-vulnerable, but requires 15 total points when vulnerable (eg add the king of hearts).

If you swap the queen of clubs with the queen of diamonds it'll overcall 2; it seems with weak hands it bids its better minor. But add the queen of hearts and it'll bid 2.

(Also, if the opponents compete to 2 it'll reverse into 3 with those weak hands, lol, so that's clearly a bug rather than a 'I'm only planning to bid one suit when weak'.)

Thanks.

If the plan is to bid only one suit, then stronger minor rather than the natural diamonds makes some sense: but in that case, stick to it (and I'm not convinced it was the best plan here in any case).

Makes you wonder what the programmer was thinking when this "logic" was implemented.

too many weird things with GIB when it comes to competition. Even when raising
a bid by partner even as a passed hand sometimes the explanation might say 14 plus hcp....so
there is no mandatory competion raise with Gib.
