I played this hand in a challenge against a Robot and I was surprised by the lead



8 from a 5-card suit was surprising


Cashing A just looks strange for humans, but natural bot logik, at trick 6 the East bot failed to discard Q, so I made the contract by playing from dummy twice and ducking Q

But see in the Robot replay som strange things happened.

Bidding and opening lead was the same


But look at the play of the , where the declarer reduced the number of tricks to 1 (unless some endplay) but even more interesting here the East robot discarded Q - probably not to create an entry at partner but to avoid the endplay. But here it did not matter because of declarers error in the -suit
