Last trick auto-play ... bad choice

It is jarring the have the last card ripped from my hand (and the board, if declarer). If you're going to do this (for what reason?), at least have a setting to opt-out of such software behaviour.

It's very aesthetically unappealing to me. Am I the only one?

Goodness, yeah i just love waiting 3 minutes for someone to play their last card <sarcasm>

the problem is with the implementation.

if you have auto-play singleton on, your singleton is played after a slight delay. It is long enough that I usually have played the card before the computer does it automatically.

Except for the 13th card. That is done almost instantly.

That was intentional to avoid making it obvious to all that it was a singleton.

Perhaps extending that slight delay to the 13th card would be a reasonable compromise acceptable to all.

As always, I would like to have a 'Next board' button, or some similar mechanism to quit the last trick and allow the next board to start only when all players have digested this one (or had reasonable time to do so). But that's an issue independent of auto-play.
