I’m always posting hands where my partner or I fail to find the right bid. Here’s one of those where we failed and still came out winners.

If south hadn’t led his unsupported ace heart, we make 6

Tough one to bid.

I would probably just blast to 4S over 2D.

Some play that 1-1; 2-2 is forcing, which would help if Opener prefers to repeat diamonds.
I would rebid the decent four card clubs rather than put all my eggs in the diamonds basket.
So here it would probably start
1 - 1
2 - 2
3 - 3

I do like getting my 2 suits in but this hand looks very much like a 6-4
We are in a gf after 3C 3H, no need to jump in spades

seems to me that losing Ace and likely Q you did NOT fail to find the right bid at all.

Would 3 remotely suggest a suit playable (at game) opposite a void?

That’s 4S isn’t it?

Instead of focusing on the results, you should be trying to improve the process. I actually think that's what you are trying to do here, but the wording has me worried. Getting to 5s would NOT make me smile.
