Any comments on the final double or other aspects of this hand?

Are advance bots actually better then this? I fear they are not, potentially just marginally. Is it worthwhile to pay for them or would it still be as insane as this?

I imagine you will be told that for GiB your 5 promises 25 total points and therefore the opponents cannot possibly make 5.

I don't remember the "advanced" (i.e. normal) version making this particular mistake, but I wouldn't be surprised.

In this situation it makes no difference whether you pay for them or not. People who play with the robots quickly learn you don't make bids that show 25+ points, regardless of whether you believe it should mean something else. In almost all cases your partner will promptly double anything even with a 0 count (or raise), because you have 25 points between you.

What I don't get is why GIB would want to defend 5 when it has a big fit for partner in clubs and 6 would be likely to make
6 with partner having much less is only down because of a ruff

OK, having a second look, the OP was trolling us all. GIB does bid 6; this was a Goulash tournament played by Ben, which has nothing to do with paid robots, GIB, or standard bridge bidding.

What would Bridge be without a troll?
