Challenge Creation Hangs

In the last few days, I have had a hard time challenging a stranger. When I hit the "create challange" button it just hangs and then times out, doing nothing.
Anyone know how to fix this?

It would seem that it's a BBO problem that BBO should be attempting to remedy.

We've been running into some database performance issues in the challenge creation code. We tweaked it yesterday morning, hopefully it should be improved now.
