I am a grateful long term user of BBO Helper by Matthew Kidd (IIRC).
Finally got myself a faster laptop and now even the think time information makes sense - or would do if it was better positioned.
Playing a free pairs tournament with a hired robot as partner and using the hand diagram view, I see the time for an opponent's first call hidden underneath the actual call, and then I see the rest of the times on the right in a (very sensible) rhombus layout: but with my times at the top and the robot times at the bottom, rather than the other way round (BBO shows my hand at the bottom).

Do others have the same experience?
Am I doing something wrong?

Maybe Matthew reads here and could comment.

It would also be neat if time for the pending call could count upwards during the wait, rather than appearing only when it is actually made.
That would be the cherry on the cake :)

Normally you are better off contacting me directly at bbohelper@triplesqueeze.com

However, every few months I search "BBO Helper" and see what comes up and I happened to do that a couple of days ago and saw this post. This could be a bug. E-mailing me a screenshot would help. At one point BBO Helper had an issue with the call time partly obscuring the call when the calls filled all the available initial space in the bidding display but I fixed that to scroll it one more line.

I'll consider a count up timing for the pending call. However, I wouldn't make this the default behavior because it might be distracting in the same way that all the flashing lights are distracting in a casino.

A couple of users have requested a display for the time take for the last bid in each seat. This is an option I'd like to eventually implement. But it has lower priority than (1) Multiple Auto Alert profiles (instead of just the one now); and (2) An introductory tour when the user first installs BBO Helper.

Thanks for the reply, which I just saw. I will take a screenshot ASAP and email it to you. New PC has a fairly normal screen shape, unlike my previous PC.

Time taken for the last call in each seat would be useful, but equally often it is the time taken for the preceding call by opponent's partner that is critical.

If you feel a count up from zero would be distracting, then how about a count up (and/or colour change) when beyond a certain threshold.
