Scoring: MP

1-p-p-?

(maybe the pointed situation is vice versa. I can't remember 100%)
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.

Doesn't matter - I'll bid 4 either way. I think its reasonable to play pard to cover 2 of my 4 losers. Furthermore, they probably have a spade fit lurking, and I'd like to shut it out.

4H

Versus passing we gain if we make 4H, and mostly when we go off as well.

I think this will outweigh the opponents making game occasionally.

4X went 1 down (opener high-card doubled), but 1 would have made more overtricks and 4 was cold for them. Well done everyone (I bid 4 at the table without much conviction).

4H, then sick feeling when one opponent X to find 4S making, when pass won.
