I think dbl should show a much stronger hand.

2♦ is fine if partner expects such a weak hand (on the basis of the theory that a much stronger hand would double again). In the absence of discussion I would pass, though.

IMO _P = 10, _X = 4, 2♦ = 1.
Should you show the same values twice? just in case partner missed your first double?
I suppose you could argue that partner failed to double 1♠ so he may have the minors :) but he probably just has ♥ :) or a poor hand :( or both :( :(

Bidding is pretty psycho here, but I've had partners and opponents act in this seat with hands like this.

On the actual hand, my partner made the atrocious bid of double. My hand:

I hit 2♥, and when 2♠ came back to me, I envisioned partner as being 4-0-5-4 or 4-0-4-5 or the like with 13+ HCP, so, DUH, I hit 2♠. We held it to three.

Seems like a clear pass to me: I have defense, a clear lead and partner won't have a 4 card support (or he'll be very weak).
