Low Heart. Sometimes the Diamond ten will be the winner win but that's too clever for me.

4th from my longest and strongest has let me down the least in the long run, and I don't see any good enough reason to make an exception here.
Please let me know about any questions or interest or bug reports about GIB.

Low heart.

Trying to pin an honor in declarer's hand with the K or 10 could backfire if we spear pard's QJ. We might even end up blocking the suit if pard has QJx.

In Vegas I thought for a while about leading the king from KJ10xxx after an auction like this. I decided not to be a genius and declarer had the stiff ace.
Please note: I am interested in boring, bog standard, 2/1.

I was hoping for "I decided to be a genius, and declarer had the stiff queen."

Guess I should finish this story. We have one winner (as I post this, at any rate.) The unbid suit carries the day. Led a without too much agony at the table and then wondered if it was at least a close decision when that went horribly wrong. Doubt there's much to learn from this hand other than 'If you bid as if Qx is a stopper, sometimes it works.'

Scoring: IMP

I see playing BART gets you to 4s but I guess that is not an important lesson.

1s=1nt
2c=2d!
2H!=2s!
4s

2d=BART relay...many hand types most common is 5 hearts.
2h=2-3 hearts
2s=tweener hand....2 card support with an Honor in spades.....10-11 hcp.

Also possible if you play West hand is worth an opener:

1c=1s
1nt=2d (g/f c/B)
2h=3c
3s=4s
