Assume no unusual agreements. Undiscussed if 3 of a new suit here is forcing or not. (Since a cheap cue bid is available, my gut reaction is no.).

I agree, it is unplayable to play a new suit is forcing here, because stopping in 3M is just way too important.

3 of a new suit should clearly be forcing here otherwise bidding after the preempt is just too difficult. I don't mind 3 or 3NT. Over 3 partner has room to hedge with 3 if he doesn't have a clear bid.
