It would be great if, when you com to a table half way though a hand as a substitute, you could get a quick replay of all tricks.

You look really stupid when you let them trump because you don't know that trumps are out or you donlt cash your sidesuit 10 which was actually high.

So as to prevent cheating, the replay should only be available to a substitute player and only before they have played a card of course.

This is why I always try to adjust the board and then find a sub to play the next hand.
If this is not possible, then the director should review the play for you.
Dumping a new player in the declarer seat, in the middle of a hand, and letting them sink or swim is very poor directing
