I hate multi, except when my opponents play it.

Yesterday I had A10xx Ax xx A10xxx, everybody vulnerable at MPs.

2D - p - 2H - p
p - Dbl - p - 3D
p - p - ??

3D was explained as probably showing values. What should I do?
and the result can be plotted on a graph.

I think you should do exactly what you would have done if the auction had been

2H - Dbl - p - 3D (probably showing values)
p - p - ??

which is 3 for me.
That's impossible. No one can give more than one hundred percent. By definition that is the most anyone can give.

Just to make it clear, can partner have 5 cards here? It is the Netherlands after all...
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.

No.
In first or second seat my Dutch partner ands opponents hold 6 hearts.

What is it with our reputation? Are we such unsound bidders?

In Mumbai, Shogi (Dutch) and I played against a pair of Indian internationals. Shogi opens 3. Opp asks me if it is a Dutch or an English preempt. I said we played rather sound preempts for Dutch standards. Shogi appears to have 10 points an a good 7-card clubs. Opp says he refuses to believe Shogi is Dutch, he never saw a Dutch player preempt with more than 5 HCPs before.

OK, I suppose that was off-topic since the query was about HCPs not about suit length.

I don't see what your problem has to do with multi.

After hanp left for Holland he's been bidding like crazy.

IMO you should start trying to figure out how you can take 5 defensive tricks. Along those lines my inclination is to try and give partner a ruff.

is this a problem about how to make up for my failure to make an invitation by bidding game at the second attempt?

Seems like it depends a lot on your preempting style. For me the choice is between double and 3H, double really seems like too much of a crap shoot given that I expect to make 3H a very large portion of the time, so I'd bid 3H.

If Han's partner would've opened 2 (which is NF), Han's RHO would've had to act immediately and risk his neck. Now he was able to wait a round, see what happens, and Dbl a lot more safely.
