A user reported to me that if a player is in a tournment, and you have their name in the chat too box, and type their name into the leave mail for box, when you send the mail BBO freezes. I can't replicate this, but maybe because of my yellow status. Does anyone else see this behavior?

I couldn't duplicate this from a non-yellow ID.

I hear reports of this now and again, but have never been able to replicate it.

The last time it happened to me has been at least more than 2 months ago I think. After recalling the situation better I think freeze isn't the right description. It's an endless loop. You are talking to someone and after his tournament started that's impossible. Trying to mail the rest of the conversation by writing the name in mailto starts the loop. It's impossible to blank the field. Immediately the same errormessage will appear and you can't escape anymore. You need Ctrl-alt-del to stop BBO.
Initializing the namefield during the errorhandling might help perhaps.

Has not happened to me for several updates at least.

And has only happened once - two other times it threw me out of BBO (but I slso runa lot of stuff at the same time (weird stuff because I am using a server to play in - and that is not a good idea anyway).

I am pretty sure I know what is going on here.

Assuming I am right, it will be fixed in the next version.

Thanks to everyone who provided info about this bug.
