Seems like partner has a monster with ♥, my hand is control rich so I guess we have to make a little noise with 4♠.

I dislike sitting in front of a player who has freely bid both black suits, suits where I have 2 kings and 3343 distribution, enough that I will pass here. I'm not saying you will never make slam here but I expect bad things to happen enough that I think the %age decision is pass.

Partner bid a huge hand at 2♠, and I was content to play just game. Now he just showed something like -:6:4:3, and the lead is going to be through my black kings... my hand became worse during the bidding, it is far from maximum 1NT. I would still be content to play just game.

I dont even understand the comments that says we shd play game.
If pd has anything remotely related with his bids you shd worry about missing a grand.
He did NOT DBL and bid 2♥
He did not DBL and bid 3♥
He did not DBL and bid 4♥ whatever all these means for ya, he doubled then cued and then bid 4♥. Imo this is the strongest since 1 NT promissed at least some values.
He Doubled, and then cued and then bid 4♥, discard your ♠K but an Ace and another K in unbid suits = at least slam, if pd is a sane bidder.
How can pd possibly have a hand that cues and then bids 4♥ without ♠ hcps, without ♦A and without ♣ K ? He has everything else. You shd be considering to pass with hands like KQx xxx Jxxx Qxx, You have an Ace and a K more than the worst hands possible. You already showed some wasted ♠ cards by bidding 1 NT and 3NT so he is not expecting you with a pure hand vs his short ♠ if any. I also think it is very pessimist hand judgement thinking that lead will screw us because we have black kings and LHO opened. Do you really think pd made all this noise with xx and Jxx in black suits ? Didnt he see us coming from pass ? Didnt he see us bid NT 2 times ?
I know some of you will argue that LHO opened. To be honest i dont really care what he opened with. Pd doubled then cued then bid his suit. This shd be clear in every pdship. Its not something that we didnt discuss or some unexpected bid which then listening to opponents could make more sense.

The only question is how to continue. I have already showed values in ♠, but K♣/ A♦ - IMO - are of more importance to p. I would skip 4♠, but CB on level 5: 5♣ or 5♦, depending on agreement (1st-round, mixed). P is short in ♠, meaning there is no risk that opps can take 2 quick-tricks in ♠.
The only question is how to continue. I have already showed values in ♠, but K♣/ A♦ - IMO - are of more importance to p. I would skip 4♠, but CB on level 5: 5♣ or 5♦, depending on agreement (1st-round, mixed). P is short in ♠, meaning there is no risk that opps can take 2 quick-tricks in ♠.

thx all, 4♠ is IMO very wrong, cuebidding a king on partner's shortness can't be a good idea, with the ace it would be great because it would help him evaluate his void as an overkill.
I don't like what I bid anymore, and I find myself more responsible for this disaster, I didn't want to cuebid an unprotected king, and I was afraid partner might take 5♦ as some sort of heart void and try to play there wich doesn't make sense in retrospect and I think its the right bid.
What I bid is 5♥ and partner raised with the wrong hand
. I think all posters here would do better than me on this board.

Did u ask pd why did not he bid 3 or 4 ♥ after DBL and cued with only 1 keycard vs a pd who is coming from pass and responded 1NT showing some ♠ values ?
Don't go hard on yourself, 5♥ if intended to ask ♠ control is not a bad bid. To figure if he has xx AKQJxxx KQx A or x AKQxxxx KQx Ax imo.
I would bid 5♥ too, i wld never think pd is lack of keycards for his bid.
