partner has rectified a jump to 5♣ and you only call it lazy?, what trick could we possibly lose? 6♦ is a big underbid.

Congrats to partner for finding a bid I would't find at the table I think.

We don't have any systemic treatments to show 2 suiters after a 3m overcall (except that 4D is always both majors, strong).

4D is our asking bid over 4C. A direct 4M over 4C says "even though I know you have a strong single-suited hand, I really want to suggest playing here instead". That isn't terribly refined, and it doesn't come up much.

I play a graded GSF so after 5♥, 5nt would get a response of 6♣ with the Q♥ or less and 6♦ to show 1 of the top 2.

Not unreasonable to gamble on no club losers on this auction.

Can't find that 13th trick with a trump lead. Don't think I can ever score the Ace of clubs. Jules said that earlier in this thread, however. In six, we can just let them ruff it at trick two and go about our business.

Gib can make 13 tricks on any lead, so it's possible, but I admit I don't see how.

Ah I see it now, ruff four clubs in hand (high) to establish dummy's clubs. Winning 3 spades (the ace and two ruffs), 6 hearts (the six in your hand), 4 clubs (the last four in dummy).

Even thinking about ruffing spades in the long club hand for other thing than using it as an entry is an indicator that you have a problem. Tapping the hand with long suit is a task for defenders.

True, but if they lead a diamond we could have a little fun ruffing our Ace with a baby trump before we get serious about the task of establishing clubs while drawing trumps and claiming.
