matchpoints, spade 5 was led (attitude), dummy played low.

Awkward.

The 2 and the 4 are out there. If partner has one or both, we need to win and play a club. If declarer has both, we need to duck and hopefully run spades later.

I think I'll win and play a club.

I would play the 9. I dont think partner has 532, this will leave declarer with QJ10xx. And if he has that he is playing another spade at trick 2.
Only danger is that partner has 10532. But I think he should lead the 3 even from this holding and play the 2 in the next round if he wants a switch.
