Does this happen to anyone else… I join a tournament table to kibitz, arrive just at the end of a hand and receive a pop up message “waiting for next deal”. The message has a “log off” button so it’s either wait for x minutes or logoff, x minutes can be a long time. There seems no way to click off the message. (This is NOT new to 3.9.9)

Another place I get a frustrating pop up (waiting for permission) with the "log off" button is when requesting permission to join a table. Some people are too polite to reject my request outright and make me wait for x minutes until the request times out. Can the “log off” button be changed to “I’ve had a better offer” and cancel the request.

thanks

The first one is an annoying bug that we've had trouble pinning down. It seems to happen more when you arrive at a Table between rounds and click on something, even something as harmless as the felt.

The second times out after 20-30 secs. We do wipe out idle tables every hour or so.

The "logoff" instead of a "Cancel" button is a workaround -- for various reasons, it was too hard to implement a cancel button ( I dont know if you remember but you didnt always have the LOGOFF button there). Someday, i am sure FG will offer a Cancel button, but, weirdly. this is harder to implement than you might think

Yes, the logoff button is a bit annoying. Is it possible to have a 'send me to the main bridge club' button, instead of Cancel, if that is a hard problem?
