Doubled and Redoubled

We got some snow today, it's a bit cool but nice, and everyone is fine.

The best to everyone,

Ken and Becky

Merry Christmas and goodwill to all. Although it's summer here, the weather is cold and wet.

X-mas factor

At Christmas time we look around
to see but not envision.
Indulge and spend and make amends
without any volition.
Our world continues on its way
despite our protestations.
Perspective on our role to play
in spite of best intentions.
So gather 'round the Yule-tide log
and toast the current season.
A world that turns, no matter what,
With nary a rhyme nor reason.
A ray of hope, perhaps, resides
within that ghostly presence.
A future based upon our light
in fact, that is our essence.

Season's greetings to all and to all, good bridge! :D
The Grand Design, reflected in the face of Chaos...it's a fluke!

Got to Maine just in time for the ice storm. Huddled together around the space heater and refueling the generator through 44 hours of no power and it just came back at 1pm.

Leftover KFC and pizza (double bacon) for breakfast and getting a BBQ for 16 ready and the 5 year old grandson just declared this the best Christmas EVER!

He's right.

No one has sang a Holiday song yet; therefore, I shall sing one:

Here comes Peter Cottontail
Hoppin' down the bunny trail.
Hippity Hoppity, Easter's on it's wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!
