Q or 8? Dummy's are going to provide discards, and partner hasn't signalled in a way that denotes he has a void - an unlikely scenario, I feel. And if you play the 8 any declarer 'in the zone' will let it run, so I'll play a forcing game and take away one of dummy's entries to the long clubs. Whether this actually works is a bit too early in the morning to say, so I'll have a look at the hand later after a coffee. At the moment it's just a 'playing-by-rote' comment.

Yes, I am now convinced Q is the right card. If declarer has got J10743 and a small singleton club, he has to cross to dummy once via spades, and ruff two clubs in his own hand to make the suit good. The problem is that leaves him without an entry to dummy as your Q8 doesn't allow an entry when he holds 107 opposite 95. If he tries a sneaky small you rise with the Q and throw him back into his own hand by leading the 8 and the long clubs just disappear off the radar.
