When playing Casual Bridge, starting a table I would like to use rubber bridge scoring. When I click on "scoring" the drop down menu does not specify rubber scoring.
Why when playing am I getting locked out? I have had to LOG Out, then LOG ON to have the hostess admit me.
Please advise. Mary Jane 3/7/2021

Is there another scoring method other than IMP available on BBO?
What is Total Points?

You can simply play the boards and score them yourself; ie pretend it is rubber bridge and score accordingly.

You can Matchpoint score against the same random 15 other tables.
Total points uses non-duplicated hands, and simply scores Chicago style (no honours, no rubber, 300 for NV game, 500 for V game, 50 for partscore).
All of this is set by the table host on creation. Cross-IMP scoring is simply the default (and as such by far the most common).
