Unfortunately after registration I have been unable to play this tournament as I received a tournament finished message. I registered and then attempted to play in the first hour of Sunday in my timezone but well before the midnight deadline USA.

I wondered whether there is a time restriction of some sort.

No real problem if there is, it would just be nice to know for future reference.

This tournament is still running and has 5.6 hours left to go - as of 09:25 Australian Eastern Standard time on 2 May 2021.
My provisional result is not looking promising.

I managed to play hand 1 of day 2. After that it no longer loads, i consistently get the "an error has occurred table closing message".

Something funny going on.
I just got the results of round 1 - 5 times in my messages.
Just played number 2 but no provisional score. so I tried to play it again - which usually forces the provisional result to appear.
This time (first ever) it reopened the tournament to board 11 that I had just played and let me bid it - again.

BBO is getting stupid.
I played the Wildflower 9 day survivor and made 74 % the first day. Rang 10 , not so bad.
When I tried to play it today, after 2 hands "an error has occured". No Problem I thought. It was not the first time. Start again.
Two times the same error message. When I tried the third time "Tournament completed".
Whow what a funkiller!
I tried to send a comment via email direct from the Wildflower site, but: "Duplicate comment detected, it looks as though you´ve already said..
Not even that BBO stopped my playing, they also don´t want to get a comment.
Congratulation.

Seems large technical problems; playing today in free tournaments is hardly possible. The worst part is no comments by BBO at all

I was surprised to have received 187 masterpoints for my performance on day one of the event...

I aso admit that I don't underthat the cull rate.
Are they really eliminating 80% of the players each day? Can't help but think that day 5 or so is going to kinda lonely

I sent a message to one of the hosts. He said they're working on it.

Apologies for the late reply here, I've been posting updates in the other thread posted in the BBO newsfeed.

Summary:

  • Something went wrong with the Wildflower Survivor this morning. This incident also hogged most of the other daylongs.
  • While this outage was going on, some 2,000 players attempted to play Session 2. All these players have lost their Session 2 provisional scores. If they attempt to play again, they might see a message saying that the tournament has completed.
  • Everyone will qualify for Session 3, tomorrow (no cut today).
  • Session 2 results will be removed from the overall calculations, so as to not taint the final score.

Very sorry for the problems today. Hope to see you tomorrow and run the rest of the event smoothly.
