Sectional Swiss today. You hold

Q9xxxx Ax AKTxx -

Two passes to you, so you open 1. Partner bids 2 Drury. It's a first time partnership, and you haven't discussed Drury followups, so you just bid 4. (Opps pass throughout.)

Partner shows up with

JTx KJx xx AJ9xx

LHO starts off with AK and a third spade. RHO plays one spade and doesn't give you any information (and I don't remember what he discarded anyway).

LHO is a Grand Life Master, and I don't know RHO, but he seems very good. Which of the options for the tenth trick do you go for (noting there are ways to try more than one)?

Nobody has commented. I am waiting

How about playing the Ace of clubs, finessing diamonds and then whatever hoping to squeeze the red suits :) I just made that up

The only bit I really thought of was the Ace of clubs followed by the diamond finesse - see what happens next - maybe even finesse twice

I just guessed that maybe it requires a squeeze :)

Dummy has 2 diamonds and 5 clubs, and the opening bid is 1.

See why you should present a hand diagram yourself? :)

Seriously, I think it is a due courtesy and moderators should be authorized to delete posts without.
Bridge is already tricky without being sure what is going on.

Thanks. Fixed. Sorry, sometimes hard to read on a laptop screen.

Now I can see it clearly you can only finesse once and hope - I can't be the only person making a fool of myself can I
