Since around a week ago I have been unable to play with human partners because BBO is so slow.

Have played a number of individual with robot partner and opps tournaments over the last week to see if this was consistent.

Not entirely.

Today I played two tournaments.

The first around 12 hours ago everything ran well.

The second in the last hour - felt like it took that long to complete eight hands.Every card movement took far too long.

Help.

Have seen that pop-up occasionally, yes.

Not today though when I played one robot tournament, a few hands, and a 14 hand tournament. Everything fine.

No slow connection pop-up today.

But slow response back. 35 minutes required to play eight hands in a just declare tournament.

I'd like to add my 2 cents to the discussion. I've noticed that BBO play has been slow for some time, both with robot challenges and with live players. BBO Support claims that the problem is a slow or dropped connection on my end. The strange thing is that I don't notice this reduced activity on any other online activities. I've also monitored my Mac Activity Monitor, and it doesn't show any high network demands.

I'd accept that the problem is on my end, except that numerous other players have similar complaints. It's not uncommon to see players being bumped (disconnected) from BBO during a game; it's happened to me.

I'd like to hear from other players: having similar problems, or is it me?
