Btw, after 4H (4S) I can’t imagine not bidding 5H as north. In what universe is 4S likely to fail? Bear in mind that even if 4H was a permissible bid for this partnership, surely the vast majority of 4H bids, at favourable, have less defence.

That is a Namyats for me. It would already be too heavy for 4 even not playing Namyats.
Did his partner alert the inference that he did not bid Namyats?
I know ACBL are not on that bandwagon but it seems to me necessary if they did not present a card.
