It's not pathetic - simply self-centered. Get over yourself - you won't really be free until you grasp that you are only another brick in the wall.

I had to read this twice to get what you meant - at first it seemed triinu was redundant.

Of course I have no idea whether I should take your post at face value. If I have it right a girl presents herself to you and you are too drunk to accept. After this, she for some reason pursues you on BBO, then to NY, she finds that you have tried to kill yourself, and comes to sweetly visit you. Are you saying this is just your everyday life? Girls running after you, pulling off their clothes as they chase you down the street? I guess I lack the experience to provide advice to such a sex magnet, but I think that I would worry a bit. Have you seen Fatal Attraction?

Also, again assuming I am to take this seriously, I regard the attempted suicide as somewhat more important than whether you do or do not get laid by this Estonian babe. But hey, what do I know?

I have the uneasy feeling this is a joke and I am the one not getting it. ("it" being the joke. I am definitely not getting the Estonian babe.)

Good luck, joke or not.

I have learned that I should take your note for real. Some advice:

1. Since we are not close, probably I don't know what I am talking about.

2. Lay off the heavy booze.

3. I will comment on the woman. I was sort of joking about the Fatal Attraction. But less dramatically, I would say be wary of a woman who is too willing to overlook things such as drunkenness and suicide attempts. Of course she might be able to see the inner beauty of your soul, but I recommend holding out for a woman who expects better of you.

4. See number 1.

that is just too sad, justin. i've got a relative with a severe bipolar condition who eases his depression with booze every night and strangely it doesn't work. i never talked to him about it since i just found out a few months ago, but now i see much clearer how sad he and his life really is. he's a brilliant man with lotsa opportunities and skills and heaps of ppl loving him and wanting to care. his only response is: LOL

as for him i hope that you find it in yourself to do what is rational.

if you don't, i hope you will LOL all the way. if you do, i hope the same.

i know that i'm not very old or experienced, but i am sincere all the same.

love yourself, man :)
Yesterday I was a dog. Today I'm a dog. Tomorrow I'll probably still be a dog. Sigh! There's so little hope for advancement.

Update:

Things between Triinu and I have ended as a result of this. It ended on good terms I guess, but I know that I made the decision so I have to live with the consequences. It will really be a change, I talked to her for about 8 hours a day, but if I couldn't even go see her obviously this was headed nowhere. Oh well.

There are many such who added this online love interest activity. I used to know one fella such, i think he got married at one point of the story but soon afterwards I stopped listening to the soap box.

There some folks in the bbo lobby whom I chat with, but do not play with. A couple will tell me about **La merde de jour**, I do not pass it on, and figure they tell me because there is no risk of their frinds or relatives finding out. I call them lobbyists.

One such lobbyists I knew wanted to marry a brazilian woman-- he succeeded after his thrid fiancee.

But I think you should look for nice a girl within driving distance. Once you notice things are better, buy her a bottle of clairol if need br and go on from there.

Buy a girl you are interested in a relationship with, a bottle of clairol? Certainly the most unique advice I have seen in a while, maybe ever. Maybe if you get past that, an appointment for her with a good plastic surgeon could be the next step.. B)
