sorry for the rant, glad Justin is not on tilt for trying for the squeeze instead of ♥Kxx behind. Obviously all specs were making the hand double dummy not realicing that ♠K won't be singleton so often.

Please don't encourage spectators (and, worse still, commentators) to click on GIB on every hand. I see too many comments stating that declarer should take some line which works double dummy, without explaining why this might be the correct line for declarer to take based on the bids and cards he has actually seen.

I disagree.
Encourage commentators to use GIB, and explain.
I prefer comments like:
"of course, double dummy, it makes on a H-D squeeze, but the finesse looks like the percentage play"
to comments like:
"one down"
or
"cold now"

Sorry I missed it. Hard to see if you guess right it goes down. Win the lead, club to the T and continue trump as necessary. Win whatever, draw trump. Unblock the heart, SA, spade to the ten, and ruff a heart whenever. Losing only a spade and a club; winning 5 trump, 3 spades, and 3 hearts. Out of 8 tables, clubs were played 6 times, and made 11 tricks 3 times. But all on a spade lead away from the SK, so my line doesn't really apply. Presumably the double tipped off the club suit, and getting spades right seems the only legitimate play for 3 spade tricks. Of course various cross ruff lines are attractive and on the surface the suggested line doesn't seem high percentage. The Vugraph record seems corrupted. Presumably the same problem that caused me to stop watching around board 23. How did the play and bidding actually go?

Upmark Nyström will start playing as a partnership after this BB and knows oneanother well. They won an invitational in China just prior to BB partnered by Fredin Fallenius and it is the ambition this will bring the necessary momentum.
The overall feeling in camp sweden is that the relays has not paid off and the captain wanted to go for a switch to a nat sys something that was always an alternative (a team sys was registered for this purpose).
That is the explanation on swedish discussion boards given by the swedish captain.

Usa1 vs USA2
first three boards a ton of imps to start the match
All based on play not bidding.
Pressure headache.......
I really admire these guys.
They are going all out in front of the entire bridge world with nothing but full pressure every deal.
----
usa vs usa 33 imps first three bds.
Italy vs Neth. 23 imps.

The auction is uncontested, and the 16 count opens in 2nd seat. What should be the contract?
