If you mean the ads on the BBO apps, they go away for a week if you spend money on the site. Some games cost as little as 20 cents and keep you ad free for a week.

Or, you can take the BBO Prime monthly subscription, which hides ads permanently and costs $5.99 per month. For that, click "BBO prime" then "Join the BBO Prime community".

Alternatively, the web version of BBO uses less aggressive advertisements (no video, no full screen ads). You can access it from your internet browser (chrome or safari) by visiting www.bridgebase.com.

The site has been "quirky" on my iPad recently (since the data-sharing request). The banner of ads across the top I can't get rid of (unless the site is having problems, then it drops to the bottom of the screen, with no ads showing).

But I have found a relatively reliable way to keep the full screen ads from blocking my play. When I'm finished playing I "double-click" the Home button then swipe BBO up, out of memory. The next time I start it up, I go from log-in right to the selection I want to use. This appears to keep the very intrusive ads from finding an opening. If I leave the app in-memory, or in a menu view, then the intrusive ads start to pop up.
