We got 50 % on this board when the opponents made two overtricks in 2S. Given the friendly layout for them (spades 3-2 with the queen onside, hearts 3-2), they can always make at least 10 tricks on any lead (and 11 tricks if we don't cash our diamonds), but having said that, my "partner" made a bad lead (even if it didn't cost). Why not a CLUB (the suit I opened, AND a suit where he has HELP with the jack and ten) rather than his typically stupid, yet (PERVERSELY!) BELOVED lead of a worthless doubleton heart? Even a diamond would have made more sense - but don't EVER expect "sense" from a braindead GIBBO robot!

West's BELOVED lead of a worthless doubleton works out (for ONCE!) and he gets his ruff...but it doesn't help his SCORE, because Frick and Frack then absolutely BUTCHER the spade suit with their typically IMBECILIC plays, allowing me to pitch my heart loser and make an overtrick. These GIBBO robots continue to stink the joint out.

I think North's typically BELOVED lead of a worthless doubleton is PARTICULARLY foolish here: a spade (declarer's KNOWN...FIRST suit...of at least five cards...INTO declarer). Fortunately, we still beat the contract two tricks and scored 100 %, thereby allowing Frick and Frack to add yet ANOTHER zero to their huge collection.

Another reason to operate against these abominable GIBBO losers: They don't SIGNAL, so results like this occur: They can take the first FIVE heart tricks, but because they STUPIDLY don't signal, West shifts at trick two and I take TWELVE tricks. GIBBO robots are not "just" trash - they are the WORST kinds of trash.

OMARHEUM has sent another hand. This one is really outside of our mandate, since OMAR played it in a "BEN" game, not a GIBBO one. I'm showing it here anyway, but only as a one-time exception, because our mission statement is to bash GIB/GIBBO, not BEN or anyone (or anything) else.

OMAR writes "We can't make 5S, but we should defeat 5H even with the club position favouring declarer. But my partner tosses the 10 of diamonds and declarer works it out to make 5H for 14% for us."

Yep, very stupid play by the BEN robot. I bet GIBBO would be happy to hire him: He has the appropriate "skill set" to fit in VERY well with GIBBO (ha, ha!).
